Hawks, Cops and Kids

Big Brothers Big Sisters would like to invite all 1st-5th graders to Hawks, Cops, and Kids. This annual event will take place May 6, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Robinson Gymnasium on the campus of the University of Kansas.

Local law enforcement and KU student-athletes will join together to host this fun-filled free event. The day will be full of activities such as football, soccer and volleyball. Participants will also have the opportunity to talk about personal safety, bullying, and health and wellness. The main focuses of the day are to learn about teamwork, how to make smart and healthy choices, and also to have fun!

All participants will be provided lunch and receive a free ticket to the Kansas baseball game against Texas Southern at 2 p.m., as well as a free T-Shirt. Applications will be accepted until the event date.

Interact with local law enforcement as they teach about personal safety tips and bullying.

Meet and greet Kansas Jayhawk student-athletes and local law enforcement officers.

Join the Jayhawks for fun and games inside Robinson Gymnasium and learn about health and wellness.
